equestrian company Kitt Kraiburg is delighted to announce a sponsorship
agreement with Ellen Whitaker, Britain’s leading lady show jumper.
At just 22 years old, Ellen competes all over the world and is
a regular member of the British Nations Cup team. She was our
leading Junior rider for an incredible three years from 2005
to 2007, and has already won the BSJA’s
Personality of the Year. She combines a huge riding talent with
more than a touch of glamour!

Top competitors and their horses deserve top products, and European market leader Kitt Kraiburg has just installed its groundbreaking new Belmondo matting at Ellen’s Yorkshire base, the first major installation of its kind in the UK. Belmondo is made from the highest quality virgin rubber, making it extra soft and comfortable but also exceptionally tough. The mats come in a compact easy to handle 1 metre square interlocking format, so they are light enough for anyone, even a 7 stone weakling, to lift and lay!
There are two main products within the range. Belmondo Box Plus stable mats have the distinctive Kraiburg ‘horse shoe’ surface pattern and a new, ‘dished profile’ underside that traps cushions of air to offer optimum standing comfort, insulation and safety for the stabled horse.

The Belmondo Paddock Mat is even more of an innovation. The surface has a hammerblow finish combined with a grooved grid effect making it quite simply the most slip resistant rubber surface you can buy. With such a high risk of slipping on bare concrete, more and more owners are now seeing the benefits of rubber surfaces outside the stable to keep their horses safe from injury. Paddock Mat can be used for covered walkways, or for outdoor turnout areas – a new idea in the UK, but with heavy rainfall causing such problems with poached and muddy grazing, one that is quickly catching on. And Ellen has wisely opted for Paddock Mat around her equine spa, which is in daily use.
“The new matting is proving to be a great addition”, says Ellen’s dad and trainer Stephen Whitaker. The Paddock Mat feels really secure under foot, even when it’s wet around the spa area, and the horses are very happy on it.”
Ellen and her brothers Tom, Joe and Donald, all up and coming showjumpers themselves, also utilise lots of Kitt products around the yard.

KITT-KRAIBURG TEAMS UP WITH WILLIAM FOX-PITT |
Kitt-Kraiburg is delighted to announce a sponsorship agreement with leading event rider William Fox-Pitt.
William has just built a superb 28 box yard near his home in Dorset , and Kitt-Kraiburg has provided rubber matting throughout the loose boxes, internal walkways and washing areas.

William has been a fan of rubber stable mats for some time: ‘I believe that the use of rubber on the floor makes a major contribution to the comfort and welfare of the stabled horse, ‘ he says. ‘It keeps dust to a minimum, and provides a softer, safer walking surface. I am very impressed with the quality and performance of Kraiburg mats, and delighted to have them installed throughout the new facility.'

About William Fox-Pitt
William needs no introduction as one of the top event riders not only in the UK but internationally. He has represented England in 2 Olympic Games ( Atlanta and Athens ), 5 European Championships and the World Championships. His excellent form is continuing this season with a 2 nd at Badminton, a 1 st and 2 nd double at Bramham, a win at Burghley and of course Team Gold and Individual Silver in the European Championships at Blenheim.
